Have been going to Braemar since the 70's with family or mates. Such a peaceful & laid back place to do your own thing. Normally 10 day stays where boat is left tied to the bank with gear left in. Never had any damage or anything stolen. Why would ya go anywhere else!

Great hidded secret of the Snowy Mountains. Perfect place for fishing (lots of fish in the lake). The people who run the park are such lovely couple who will make sure your stay is comfortable. A must holiday for any visitors who are looking for a peaceful escape from the big smoke :)

What a great week at Breamar got three fish on the fly, one of the best parts was the hospilaty by the managers Eddie and Kathy. Eddie helped me erect my tent on day one, they advised me to take down my tent and stay the night in a cabin as there was a strong wind weather warning developing for the area. The improved amenities with hot showers was a bonus. I was allowed to have my dog Jack he had a great time looking for rabbits, kangaroos, and a stray fox.
